Care and Preservation

We are dedicated to the care and preservation of the FDR Memorial.  We provide funding to support the repair, restoration, and preservation of the FDR Memorial.

In Spring 2026, we will be funding the cleaning and restoration of three pieces of art at the Memorial - the two pieces of artwork in the Prologue Room - the FDR wheelchair statue, and the bas relief with a quote by Eleanor Roosevelt, and the Presidential Seal in Room One.
