Help Recreate the Historic Coalition

In the 1990s, during the campaign to add the FDR wheelchair statue, more than 50 disability organizations publicly lent their names in support. For this 25th Anniversary in 2026 of the FDR Wheelchair Statue and completion of the FDR Memorial, we hope to recreate that historic coalition of disability organizations. Participation will signal that this milestone is valued by leaders and communities alike, and that the FDR wheelchair statue continues to stand as a powerful symbol of strength, visibility, and pride for disabled individuals around the world.
