Serve at the Memorial

Be part of the National Park Service Volunteer Program!

Join a special, stipend-supported volunteer cohort serving visitors at the Franklin Delano Roosevelt Memorial.

This opportunity is part of the National Mall’s Volunteers-in-Parks program, co-managed by the National Park Service and the Trust for the National Mall, with stipend support provided by the FDR Memorial Foundation. The FDR Memorial Foundation is a proud supporter of and collaborator on the program. Funding for stipends is provided by the Roosevelt Warm Springs Foundation and the FDR Memorial Foundation’s Mike Deland Fund.

Each year, more than three million people visit the memorial. As a volunteer, you’ll play a direct role in helping visitors connect with the history and legacy of President Franklin D. Roosevelt during one of the busiest and most significant moments on the National Mall.
